Records on your device

HoopMinutes stores teams, seasons, player names or nicknames, jersey numbers, availability, game dates, scores, rotations, playing time and preferences on your device. It works without an account or internet connection. The app does not send these records to the developer and does not include advertising or an analytics service.

Player information

Use first names or nicknames only. Do not enter contact details, birth dates or health information. Coaches are responsible for recording and sharing player information appropriately, including obtaining any permissions required for youth teams.

Exports, backups and Apple services

You decide where to save or share reports and backup files. These may contain player information and are not encrypted by the app. Protect them and share them only with appropriate recipients. Device backup services may keep copies depending on your settings. Apple handles purchases and may process diagnostic or TestFlight feedback information under its own policies and your settings.

Deleting records

Records stay on your device until you delete them or clear the app’s storage. Archiving preserves history. Deleting a roster player leaves their details in saved games. To remove those details, delete the affected games too, or use Erase all local data in Settings. Delete exported files, device backups and copies shared with others separately. The developer cannot remotely access or erase your local records.

Contacting support

If you email support, we receive your address and the information you send. We use it to respond and resolve your request, retaining it only as needed for that purpose or legal obligations. Do not send player records unless necessary. For questions or requests about support correspondence, contact the email below.

Changes to this notice

This notice describes the offline edition of HoopMinutes. Material changes will be described in an updated notice with the relevant app update.

Keeping a copy of your records

This edition works without an account or internet. Records stay on this device. Uninstalling the app or losing the device may lose your records. Keep backups elsewhere.

Export a backup file to keep your saved teams, seasons, players and games. CSV is a report, not a restorable backup. Save your current game first. Imports merge saved records; they do not replace the active game or settings.

This support website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, cookies or contact forms. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. This website hosting is separate from the app’s on-device records. Read the GitHub Privacy Statement.
